====== Launchers ======

When using a custom launcher even after setting the default launcher you will be prompted to choose your launcher after every reboot. You can fix this behavior by debloating the stock launcher app package:
(enter stock launcher package name). To do this see the [[:debloating_apps|debloating apps]] page.

==== InkOS ====

InkOS is a minimal text based launcher with D-Pad reasonable navigation support. Does not support custom shortcuts however, and has issues with showing all installed apps at times.

InkOS is capable of creating shortcuts through its settings menu, which is accessible by pressing and holding with the cursor on the home screen. In "App Drawer>System Shortcuts" you can enable various system shortcuts. Notably, "Settings Search" is a shortcut to the [[:android_settings_menu|Android settings menu]].

==== Niagara ====

Niagara is a popular minimalistic proprietary launcher, some menus require using a cursor to navigate. The main app navigation on the home screen works well for the D-pad however. Niagara has a free and paid version.

==== Lawnchair ====

Setting up some of the home screen requires a cursor or [[:screen_mirroring|screen mirroring]]. But navigation on the home screen is clearly highlighted and easy to use by the D-pad once set up.

Note:
On the A202KC rebooting into lawnchair causes intense flashing of the background.
