The Digno 4 are likely only rated for 32 GB due to it being only rated for SDHC, however the android kernel version supports ExFAT, allowing for higher capacity cards.

So far only 256 GB has been confirmed to work on the A202KC¹⁾ and only for portable storage. But 128 GBs has been tested and works as internal storage.

When an SD card is inserted into the phone, a default pop up will come up to format the card. In the stock settings app it is only possible to format the card as Portable storage, which is readable by other devices and can only be used for files.

However android supports using an SD card as internal storage, and by navigating to the hidden Android Settings Menu you can easily format the card to be used as internal storage. This will however encrypt the cards content and make it unreadable on other devices.

System apps as well as systemized apps cannot be moved onto the SD Card.

After completion apps that are flagged as supported by the Developer will be automatically moved onto the SD Card.

1. Insert an unformatted (or incorrectly formatted) SD card into the phone.
   
   
2. Navigate to the Android Settings Menu via a method listed on the Android Settings Menu page.
   
   
3. Inside Storage > SD Card choose to format the card as “Internal Storage”
   
   
4. (Optional) App developers can declare using flags whether to support having their app installed on external storage. If you wish to bypass this and move apps anyways, you will need to enable “Force allow apps on external storage” in Developer options.
   
   

Some apps will be automatically moved onto the SD Card, but some may need to be moved manually. You can choose to move an app onto the SD Card in the Android Settings Menu under Apps & notifications > See all > App of your choice > Storage & cache > Storage Used.
