Setting up cell networks
You will need to manually set up your carriers network APN, even if you had it automatically configure by the phone.
Adding your carrier APN
Search up your carriers name and add “APN”. All carriers will have a page where they list how to manually input an APN for the device. This is necessary because most (if not all) Garaho's are not officially supported outside of Japan.
You can find the APN settings within “Settings”>“Wireless/Network”/“Cellular networks”>“Access Point Names”.
It is recommended that you use screen mirroring to input all the fields.
Troubleshooting
If you have any issues at all with networking, please feel free to ask for help from our community, we would be glad to help.
Issues with MMS, VoLTE, or data
Input a new APN separately from the one earlier and set it as this:
Name: ims APN: ims APN Type: ims APN protocol: IPv4/IPv6 APN roaming protocol: IPv4/IPv6
Make sure that you keep your carrier APN selected, and not this newly created one. Restart the phone.
