DIGNO 4 Keys
This page is for keys and their associated stock functions, as well as keycodes on the Kyocera DIGNO Keitai 4.
D-pad
The corner keys simply send the signal of both of the adjacent directional keys and are not unique.
Enter
Keycode: DPad Center
Generic key for select. Holding the key while booting will put the phone into safe mode.

Answer
Pressing the key will answer a call when prompted.
Back
Pressing the key will backspace while texting, and send a signal to go back to the previous menu. Using this key will not close an app, but leave it non destructively.
End call/Power off
Pressing this key terminates the currently focused application, holding the key will prompt the user with a power off selection.
Safe mode may be accessed from the power menu by holding Enter on the “Yes” button.
Ends a call when pressing the key.

Star
Holding this key while booting will take you to the recovery menu on the A20XKC models. Unconfirmed on the KY-4XC models.

Custom keys
By default, these keys can be individually be bound to app shortcuts using the jp.kyocera.customizekey package. This functionality can be removed by debloating the app, see the Keymapper page section for details.

Holding this key down will toggle the notifications panel.

Keycode: F12
Holding this key down activates the stock cursor

Manner/Shutter (マナー/シャッター)
Keycode: Camera
This button is located on the right side of the phone with the Japanese “マナー/シャッター”.
